To contribute my views and opinions, it is important first to show respect to others. Respect is the attitude of admiration for someone’s qualities or characteristics, but it may also be the behavior of treating someone with respect and decency. According to Werner (2022), respect can be demonstrated by paying attention to others and valuing inclusion. By inclusion- this means being accommodative to all people regardless their cultural backgrounds, race, colour, social status, and ethnicity. It is also important to be specific as possible to be clearly understood (Werner, 2022)
Working effectively as part of a team
To be able to work effectively as part of the team, one needs to work towards establishing the relationship with the team. In addition, it is imperative to value communication with the other members. Indeed, it also requires actively listen to others, by giving people time to express their thoughts while paying close attention to what they have to say enhances respect. A appier and healthier atmosphere within the team may result from this. It is also requires recognizing others’ efforts knowing that just as one should pay attention to what others have to say and value their contributions, it’s crucial to appreciate the talents and successes of the team members (Werner, 2022).
Clarifying problems or issues
According to DeCenzo et al.(2016) clarifying a problem requires a deeper understanding of the issue. To understand the problem, the first aspect is to know how it came to attention and the manner in which it was described. Then it is imperative to explore what was the consequences of framing the issue as done. The subsequent aspect is todetermine how big the problem and finally the cause of the problem.
